Nations – Italy is n° 1 in the World Rally Ranking

Amongst the standings of the World Rally Ranking established by the IRDA (International Rally Drivers Association)

IRDA logoWorld Rally Ranking logoThe WRR world ranking reserved for nations. In the special 2010 WRR standings Italy leads the pack, followed by the Czech Republic, the podium is completed by Great Britain.

Amongst the first 9 nations in the world also are France, Finland, Poland, Spain, Portugal and Ireland, all of them being European nations.

The first nation from outside Europe featured in the ranking is Argentina, in 10th place. 74 countries in the world, after the running of the international rallies in the FIA calendar, have scored the necessary results to enter the World Rally Ranking.

The nations’ standings is made by the sum of the points scored by all the drivers and co-drivers of every single nation. Italy leads thanks to the points scored by its drivers and co-drivers, besides having many events entered in the FIA International sporting calendar.

Number 1 in Europe is: Italy, Czech Republic is second, Great Britain is third. 

Number 1 in Asia is: Turkey, Japan is second, China is third. 

Number 1 in the Middle East is: Qatar, Kuwait is second, United Arab Emirates is third. 

Number 1 in Africa is: Kenya, Uganda is second, Rwanda is third. 

Number 1 in South America is: Argentina, Brazil is second, Paraguay is third. 

Number 1 in North America is: Mexico, Costa Rica is second, USA  is third. 

Number 1 in Oceania is: New Zeland, Australia is second.
